Brake Bistro

You will find Brake Bistro on Armádní Street in Milovice-Mladá, just a short walk from the Sluneční vrch bus stop. For one evening, this small bistro with a glass front and a wooden terrace among the trees turns into a studio. We prepare the canvases, acrylic paints and aprons, and the instructor guides you through the whole painting step by step, so you can create your own piece even without experience. Parking is available at the Lidl car park on Armádní Street, about 170 metres from the bistro.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How does the evening work?

You’ll spend three hours with us in an enchanting setting, which is enough time to finish your painting.
First, we’ll welcome you and show you to your seat.
Everything will be ready for you there, and you can choose a welcome drink of your choice.
After selecting a template, our instructors will explain everything and give you useful tips to get started.
Then we’ll help you prepare your colors; an apron is provided so you won't get messy.
Throughout the evening, there will be time for individual questions and consultations.
During the experience, you’ll also have access to service and the full menu of the restaurant or café.
At the end of the evening, we’ll carefully wrap your painting and take care of the cleanup.
Your only job is to enjoy the evening and let us pamper you!

Can I do it even if I don't know how to paint?

The answer is: YES! Most of our participants are people who last held a brush in kindergarten or primary school. The entire concept is designed so that even someone without experience or "natural talent" can handle it. Our wonderful instructors are available for individual consultations at all times.

If you do paint occasionally or regularly, we’d be happy to chat and adjust the evening for you individually so that you stay challenged and inspired.

Is the painting evening suitable for children?

We recommend the painting experience for everyone aged 12 and up. During the experience, it's necessary to focus on painting for 3 hours. Younger children lose focus more quickly and may require much more intensive and detailed individual guidance. Since we want to provide the same quality experience to all our customers, we cannot always guarantee this extra attention. Therefore, we prefer an age where children can comfortably handle the concept and enjoy the experience just as much as adults!

How long does the experience last?

The experience evening lasts 3 hours. During this time, you’ll manage to paint a stylish picture, even if you’ve never painted before. You’ll also have plenty of time to chat with friends and have something good to drink.

What kind of paint is used?

At ArtMoment evenings, we paint with acrylics. Due to its properties, it is suitable even for absolute beginners. Acrylic paints dry quickly and have excellent coverage and color intensity.
