Drawing Class in Prague – How It Works with Us
Let’s be upfront: we don’t run term-long pencil drawing courses in Prague. Our classes are one-off experiences where you paint with acrylics on canvas – but that’s exactly where you learn what makes a drawing work: laying out a composition, judging proportions, working with light and shadow and keeping a steady hand. The instructor explains every step, the designs are sorted by difficulty, and after three hours you leave with a finished piece.

If you want to get closer to drawing, the open ArtLab studio in Prague is for you: come any time during opening hours, pay an entry fee from 599 Kč per 1.5 hours plus canvas and paints, and try techniques without a design and without an instructor looking over your shoulder – ink, charcoal and sketching. For now we only have ArtLab in Prague (Tusarova 31) and in Brno (Václavská 237/6).

We don’t currently offer separate pencil drawing classes. Drawing is part of our art classes – you learn composition, proportions and shading while painting with acrylics – and of the open ArtLab studio, where you can also try ink, charcoal and sketching.
Yes. Most guests are holding a brush for the first time since school. The designs are sorted by difficulty and the instructor guides you step by step.
About 3 hours. The price includes a welcome drink, a 40 × 50 cm canvas, acrylic paints, brushes, an easel, an apron and guidance from the instructor. You take your finished piece home straight away.
Painting experiences from 1 690 Kč per person, entry to the ArtLab studio from 599 Kč per 1.5 hours + canvas and paints. You can see the exact price for each date in the calendar.
We recommend painting from a design from age 12 accompanied by an adult; younger children create in the playful ArtLab studio. Booking is online, and you can change your date up to 48 hours before the start.
