Pottery Class Prague

Pottery class in Prague for beginners (no wheel – slab technique)
ArtCeramics is a one-day pottery workshop: from 1 kg of clay you hand-build a mug and a plate using the slab technique – roll the clay, cut the parts with templates, join and shape them. No wheel, no prior experience: the lecturer shows every step and the result is a straight, usable mug at the first attempt.

You decorate your pieces with engobes – coloured clay slips painted straight onto the raw clay – then leave them in the studio: they dry, are bisque-fired, get a clear food-safe glaze and a final firing. In 5–6 weeks we invite you to pick up your finished breakfast set (or arrange shipping if you are only visiting Prague).
How the workshop works

Ceramic painting Prague
The most fun part is painting: geometric patterns, flowers, lettering, a dedication for someone at home. Engobes keep their colour after firing and are food-safe, so your mug is made for everyday coffee. It also makes a personal souvenir from Prague that nobody else has.
