• Welcome
  • We meet on-site 15 minutes before the scheduled start.
  • After seating, you will receive a welcome drink of your choice.
• Creating
  • You will first get to know the printing technique and the ways to design your own pattern.
  • On a workboard, you will begin assembling your design from prepared plastic blocks and paints.
  • Throughout the experience, you can ask individual questions and consult with our instructors.
• Memories
  • You will do a test print, fine-tune the details and then create the final version on high-quality paper.
  • You will sign the finished piece and mount it in a passe-partout – your very own original artwork is ready!

A Playfulness That Surprises

At first glance, it may seem like a child’s game – but once you start assembling the design and transferring it onto paper, you'll discover PixelArt's surprisingly sophisticated and visually impressive artistic potential. The technique is based on the classic method of relief printing, where the design built from plastic blocks is printed with paint onto paper.

Design Your Own Pattern

You will first learn the basics of relief printing, composition, and types of designs you can create – from pixelated symbols and stylized figures to abstract patterns. Then you will design your own pattern on a baseplate made of blocks – either from your imagination or using prepared templates.

Print Your Idea on Paper

Once your design is ready, it's time for a test print. This helps you see how your creation really looks on paper and make any needed adjustments. Then you move on to the final print – you can try different colors, combinations and effects. You will finalize, sign and mount your prints in a passe-partout. You’ll take home your own artwork to frame, gift or turn into a greeting card.
